New exciting additions for this season: Seminar with Sports Psychologist Dr. Jay P. Granant and clinic with Billy's own former AAU coach and "Coach of the Year" Chris Ward. Read below for more details.

We understand the Winter season is a very busy time for young basketball players. We make every effort to schedule all practices and games around school, travel and CYO teams. Billy always encourages his players to play as much as possible and that school and town teams come first. Playing too much is a good thing!
Teams are coached by Billy Armstrong, John Wilson, John Pagliaroli and Hoop Dreamz staff. All coaches are put through Billy Armstrong's coaching clinic and follow the Hoop Dreamz system. Our philosophy is that mistakes will happen, it's learning and getting better that counts. We also expect to win! | | Program consists of:
- 1 Practice a week
- 1 Hoop Dreamz league game a week
- 3 Tournaments
- At least 20 games guaranteed!

1. Seminar with Dr. Jay P. Granat from StayInTheZone.com.
Dr. Jay has been a psychotherapist and coach of champions for over 24 years. He specializes in psychology in sports and exercise and has coached thousands of basketball players, golfers, baseball players and more. His clients have included professional athletes, student-athletes, doctors, lawyers, salespeople, traders and some of America's largest corporations. Dr. Granat has written several sports mental training books and has lectured extensively on performance enhancement. His credentials are extensive so please visit StayInTheZone.com for more details.
2. Clinic with Coach Chris Ward of Teaches Hoops
Coach Ward played college basketball at South Carolina Spartanburg and was a member of the 1985-86 NAIA Division 1 Champions. As a Coach, he has built programs in New Jersey, South Carolina and New York at the junior high school and high school levels. He has also coached at Hasting High School where he was the 2002-2003 New York State "Coach of the Year". He is the #1 player development coach in upstate NY with the Teaches Hoops organization. Most importantly, he was Billy's first AAU coach! He led a team of Bergen County players within 2 points of an AAU State Championship. Billy credits him as being the essential part of his early development.
