5 Hoop Dreamz teams won tournament titles this past weekend – making a big splash in our final games. Congrats to HD Boyz 7th, 8th, 9th & HD Girlz 6/7th and 8th! Special recognition goes out to HD8 Girlz who went undefeated all season long, racking up all 4 championships they competed in – Way To Go!!!

We appreciate everyone’s commitment & hard work and hope you enjoyed being a part of our HD family. Continue to get better and improve your skillz because Fall AAU tryouts are around the corner!

What a successful weekend for all HD teams in Ocean City, MD! There was tough competition on the court and still some time to enjoy the OC beach & boardwalk scene. Great job to ALL players – and special thanks to our HD parents for all their support.

Congrats to the HD8 Girlz who brought home more than memories from OC, as they won the championship rings at the Urban Youth July Showcase – their 3rd title in a row! Let’s close out our summer AAU season on a strong note as we prepare for the Hoop Heaven tournament this coming weekend. Good luck to everyone!

Registration for camp next week is closed. We are completely full and can not accept anymore campers at this time. Walk-ins will not be accepted. There is still room for our last week of BC camp July 23-27 but it is filling very fast so please register soon so you don't get shut out! There is also room for our two weeks of HD camp in August which is open to girls and boys. It has been such an exciting summer already and it has only just begun!

Hoop Dreamz showed up in force at the Summer Slam Shootout this past weekend, with 4 teams earning tournament titles – Girlz 8th and Boyz 6th, 8th & 9th. Congrats to all of you on your wins! One HD highlight: an opposing team held the ball and ran down the clock for more than 6 minutes until time expired at the half, refusing to play against our zone defense unless our HD players broke formation. The stand off eventually became a walk-off as the other team left the court in frustration. Way to stay strong HD8 Girlz!

Our first week of camp, July 9-13, is completely full and we can not accept anymore campers or walk-ins. Our second week, July 16-20, is almost full and only has a few spots left. All weeks are filling fast so please register soon so you don't get shut out!

Congrats to 9th Boyz & 8th Girlz for bringing the heat this weekend & racking up the first championships of the new AAU season at the J&J Summer Shootout in FDU Madison. Hats off to the Girlz for coming out on top & securing the win in double overtime! HD is off to a great start….

9th Blue & Coach Frank added another Championship T-shirt to their ever growing collection by taking the title last Sunday at the Hoops Super Shootout at Montclair State, capping off a very successful season with a total of 4 tournament wins. Shout out to 8th Girlz and 4th Blue for making it to the Championship Finals.

This has been an amazing season & we thank all ALL of our Hoop Dreamz teams for working hard & playing hard. Let's keep getting better over the summer… hope to see you at our BC or HD camps!

Three Hoop Dreamz teams closed out the Spring AAU season in style, with tournament wins at the Hoops Jam Classic. HD 5th & 6th Boyz finished on high notes, winning their first Championships after some very tough battles & close calls all season long. And three times a charm for the HD 7th Girlz as they racked up their 3rd chip. Good luck to the 4 HD teams finishing up at tournaments this weekend including the 4th Blue who will test their skillz in Hunterdon County at the Little Ballers Tournament of Champions.

5th & 6th grade Girlz kept their championship streaks going with wins at Slamfest 3, while 4th grade Blue followed suit with their 4th tournament win at the Musketeers Showcase in Staten Island. 9th Blue also beat their big rival, the West Orange Knights, to claim another HD title at Slamfest 3. Congrats to everyone on your Big Wins!!!

Congratulations to 8th Black and 9th Blue who brought the heat & delivered the goods with Championship wins at the Baker's Mother's Day Shootout in Toms River. Way to represent North Jersey! Another special shout out to Boys 10th for taking 4th place in the NJ State Tournament (D2). Great job all around!

Spread the Word… Hoop Dreamz is looking for the most dedicated players to field a few select AAU Elite Teams this Summer. Season runs from mid June to late July, and includes one overnight tournament. More information to come soon. Can't wait? Then send us an email to let us know that you're interested! Tryouts will take place June 17-19 at Bergen Catholic HS.

4th Blue led by their fearless leader Coach Mike Byrne was unstoppable, winning their 3rd tournament in a row! And the HD 5th & 6th grade Girlz faced off in the Championship, with 6th Girlz also taking their 3rd title this season. Now that's a Hoop Dreamz Triple Double!! Congrats to Coach Frank Muggeo for his undefeated streak with the Girlz games, and to Coach Billy Armstrong & 8th Black for placing 4th out of 27 teams in the NJ State tournament (D2). Good Luck to 10th grade as they advance to the next round of the states!

The 9th Blue team won the "Ball is in Your Hands Shootout" Championship in overtime thanks to a perfectly executed "knees" play with four seconds to go! Great job to Coach Frank and the boys. Shout out to the 7th grade boys for playing hard in the Championship game although falling short two points. Good luck to the 10th and 8th Black as they compete in the state tournament this weekend.

The HD Girlz ruled the tournament scene and swept all their divisions for another winning weekend. Congrats to Girls 5th, 6th and 8th for showing the JJ Showdown II our version of a Hoop Dreamz triple threat! Also congrats to Boys 4th Blue for winning the Goats April Shootout! Special shout outs to the 8th grade girls for advancing to the next round of the state tournament – and to the 8th Black as they compete in states this weekend. Let’s go HD!

Three teams went undefeated winning the Garden State Slamfest 1 this past weekend - Girls 7th and 8th grade and Boys 10th grade. This is the second tournament chip in a row for the 7th grade girls who are well on their way to a fantastic season. Excellent job by all teams.

Receive top level instruction from Billy Armstrong and the HD coaches. A new series of classes will be starting the week of April 30th. Dream Academy is open to 3rd-6th graders and DA Elite is open to experienced 7th-8th graders. This WILL make you a better player...guaranteed!

Congratulations to the 6th grade girls team for winning the Championship this past Saturday at Spring Hoops tourney at Drew University. Great effort by all the girls and all our teams who played.

Three of our teams started out strong by winning their first tournament of the season! Congrats to the girls 7th grade, boys 4th Blue and 8th Black teams for winning Championships this past weekend. It looks to be a promising season for all our teams! Good luck to those playing this Saturday.

Pascack Hills star and former Hoop Dreamer Cole Dorfman scored his 1,000th point and we couldn't be prouder. Cole, now a Senior, started classes with Billy in 6th grade and played on the very first Hoop Dreamz AAU team back in 2006! We wish him the best of luck as his team advances in the state tournament.

Billy's Davidson College Coach earned Coach of the Year for the 11th time in the Southern Conference. Congrats to Coach McKillop and the Wildcats on a great season so far. Help us cheer them on as they prepare for March Madness!

The wait is finally over! Our highly anticipated Spring AAU season is just around the corner and tryout dates have now been posted. We are looking for talented players to join our competitive teams. Do you have what it takes?

DA Elite is a new program for experienced 7th-8th graders that is a great addition to AAU or for those who don't want the commitment of an AAU team. Advanced instruction offered by Billy Armstrong and the HD Coaches along with 5 on 5 games. Sessions start Feb. 28th. Sign up today!

Spring Dream Academy with Billy Armstrong is back and better then ever! Two locations and times to choose from. Enrollment is now open for boys and girls grades 3rd-6th. Classes start Feb 27th. Registration for DA Elite for 7th-8th graders will be up soon.

We are now accepting enrollment for our highly anticipated President's Week Camp held at Bergen Catholic High School. It is going to be a fantastic week of basketball in a great gym. We can't wait!
